Frequently Asked Questions

What services do you offer?
I offer individual therapy to adults in California via telehealth. Each session is 50 minutes. The standard rate is $275 per session.

Group therapy is offered at various points and more information will be available when groups are starting.

Do you accept insurance?
I do not currently accept insurance. I’m considered an out-of-network provider, which means I don’t work directly with insurance companies or bill them on your behalf. However, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement by using their out-of-network benefits.

If you choose to pursue this option, I can provide a monthly superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance provider. This document includes the necessary information for them to process your claim.

Before we start working together, it’s recommended to contact your insurance company and ask the following:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health services?

  • Is there a deductible I need to meet before reimbursement begins?

  • What percentage of the session fee is reimbursed?

  • How do I submit superbills for reimbursement?
